Hair is first clarified in preparation for fantasy color and color is applied.

Color is applied to the roots and melted down to create a soft, seamless and lower maintenance look.
This is done before a color correction in order to remove some previous color, and make it easier to lift more pigment out of the hair.

Corrective color is done when there is previous color still remaining in the hair.
